This Laboratory  is focused on analitical testing of its dairy products, environment and handlers.

At the same time, it carries out a continuous search for tools to guarantee quality, using important analytic methods for the exports of dairy products, guaranteeing reliability and compatibility of the obtained results at an international level.

In order to comply with the current environmental regulations, the commitment of MULPULMO with the environment and the Clean Production Agreement, we build a big Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant.

This plant is a trickling filter of more than 8400 square meters, able to treat 1200 cubic meters per day of industrial wastewater. It is one of the largest plants of its kind in Chile.

 With this plant we have achieved a 95% of removal of biochemical oxygen demand (BOD5), reduction of fecal coliforms, an 80% removal of total suspended solids (TSS) and a 70% reduction of nitrogen and phosphorus. With this, the parameters of industrial wastewater quality established by the Chilean and International Regulations are complied.

This system consists of using standardized  operational procedures, from  production, quality specifications of finished products, cleaning and sanitizing system, water control, even plague control, which generates control registers that can be verified.
